Workshops
In this workshop you will learn the fundamentals of creating functional ware using the slab building technique.
Students will learn how to make slabs with consistent thickness and proper texture, then apply these skills to construct practical containers such as mugs and a small milk jug.
The course covers essential techniques for creating and attaching handles that are both beautiful and functional. Students will also explore various methods for adding surface texture to their forms, transforming simple slabs into expressive, finished pieces.

What: A Taster session where you will learn the basics of hand-building with slabs giving you an introduction to this technique.
How long: 2 hours
When: Mondays, Tuesdays. Wednesday. Thursday ~& Friday

What: A workshop where you’ll learn the fundamentals of creating functional ware using the slab building technique. You will take home 2 glazed pieces such as mugs and/or milk jug.
